[1238-20080330] 500mL bottle. Mild yeasty cornfield aroma diluted with sweet watery haystacks dipped in barnyard muck. Clear, light orange yellow body with a quick creamy white head. Burnt hay stalks flavour has a mild hoppy background. Medium body is grainy. Better chilled.

A surprisingly light and easy drinking lager. Moderately carbonated with a nice crisp mouthfeel that provides a smooth finish. One of my favorites from Poland so far.

Comments: A surprisingly good beer - not my favorite type, but very enjoyable. Not deep or complex, but warming, and tasty.
I liked: The after taste, the slight hoppiness, and the sweetness. The aroma is nice, if tame.
I did not like: the slight watery theme, the lackluster color, and the lack of head.
2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 esjaygee (2496) - Oak Creek, Wisconsin, USA - MAR 23, 2008
500ml bottle from Old World Deli. Deep Yellow with large white head that disappears quickly. At first smell, I thought this was going right down the drain as it smelled sour & funky. However after sitting for a minute sweet malts & dough came through. Medium palate with a mild sweet astringent finish. Better than expected from a Premium Lager. Ratebeer.com rating #100 for me!
4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20 SN11 (60) - USA - MAR 13, 2008
Ahh. The magickal formulae of flowery aroma sprinkled with honey, mildly caressed hops and divine earthly water . A nectar to behold and drink.
