500ml can from a corner supermarket in Gillingham as part of a six Polish beers for £5 deal. How can you say no to that - especially as all, apart from this one, were 7% abv! It’s a drinkable global pale lager. Not very tasty, but at this price you don’t expect that. Somebody had this listed as a Premium Lager. Gawd help us! Premium Lager is, of course, purely a marketing exercise - it’s the beers that a brewery will put most of its advertising behind, and will put a "premium" on the price as a result. It’s not a fucking beer category - and even if it was, this beer is as far from it as it is possible to be, for fuck’s sake. Anyway, yeah, the beer is drinkable. And as expected. Bland. With a slightly filthy taste, But drinkable. And cheap.

Bottle. Clear, light golden pour with a small white head that fades quickly. Lightly grainy aroma, with clean malt and a touch of hops. Crisp flavour with light malts, slightly floral with a bit of hops. Finishes sweet and clean. Not outstanding, but a solid lager. Better than expected.

Standard European pale lager. Pours a clear golden colour with a very thin head. Sweeter taste with a bitter finish, and a fairly watery and flat perception.

Just your average European pale lager. Aromas are sweet grains, apple, and skunk. Same flavors. Meh.

Bof.

500ml can, kindly shared by djoeye. Bubbly white head. Lacing rings. Clear pale golden body. Pale malty and grassy nose. Malty flavours with a vague touch of caramel. Short grass hoppy end. Medium bodied and soft carbonated. Just alright. (Tromsø 30.01.2014).

White head, golden clear beer.
Mild malts, pale malts in scents.
Sweet malt, some caramel, lager taste.
Seems to be half dry. Finishes with notes of milk chocolate, malts, bread.
Not very special but drinkable.

Bottle poured into a shaker. Pours a clear dark gold with a half finger of white head. Aroma of grains and skunk. Taste is light bitter. Grains and skunk. Light bodied with a thin texture. Fizzy carbonation and not much of a finish. Overall, meh. Nothing too special here

Can - think this came from a shop on Rookery Road, Handsworth, Birmingham but I may be wrong. Pale lager with a musty aroma. Skunk and cheese. Not a good start. Taste is typical salty sweet-ish malt but with the saving grace of at least some East Euro metallic bitterness at the end. Actually this is growing on me - decent tasting lager. Not awful but not great either.
