[Bottle] shared by skyview. Pours a clear gold with almost no head. Aroma of soap and light florals. Taste is pretty much the same, light grainy finish.

12oz bottle. Golden pour, thin white head. Aroma of cooked Quinoa, grassy, veggie. Fizzy, earth and wood flavor. Sharp hop bitterness. Odd barley character. Kinda off balance. Cool thing to try, kinda far from home.
My 1st Tibet Rating.

27-Dec-09 (12-oz bottle, dated 07-May-09: BevMo in La Jolla, CA) Hmm, this isn’t that bad at all, it’s actually quite drinkable. Sweet, grainy malts are slightly toasty and are balanced nicely by mildly bitter, grassy hops. The faintly aromatic nose is malty and grainy with a touch of sweetness. Light in body but not watery, with moderate carbonation and a slightly dry finish. Golden-yellow in color with perfect clarity, giving perfect view of the slowly moving carbonation bubbles as they ascend through the beer throughout the session. The white head pours to almost an inch before settling to a wide ring, leaving some spotty lace. Not a lot of flavor here, but it’s a nice flavor. This is much better than expected and one of the few pale lagers I wouldn’t mind drinking.

(bottle courtesy of chickencoop!). Pours hazy golden with white head. Aroma of faint lavender and somewhat perfumey. Taste is sweet with a little hop bite at the end. Lighter bodied with a slight bitter finish. Perfectly drinkable beer. Pretty good.

I got this from a few bottles back on the shelf, but the fluorescent tube was nearby. Poured with a small, off white head and a little lace. Color is a clear yellow. Aroma is firstly cabbage, then malt, grain. Flavor isn’t as bad. Heavy grain and mildly sweet. Body is ok and so is carbonation. Finish is like flavor and on the short side. Nice label. Should be stored better.

Bottle as shown. Pours a clear orange golden with a medium creamy white head that lasts awhile leaving good sticky lacing along the glass. The aroma is a sweet corn malt and cereal. Medium mouthfeel and a bit watery with a corn malt and cereal flavor. Not too much with this pale lager from Carlsberg.

Boutip (4642) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - NOV 9, 2010
Bottle: Poured a light yellow color lager with a small pure white bubbly head with average retention and no lacing. Aroma of light crisp hops is quite subtle with lightly sweet malt notes. Taste somewhat bland with light notes of Saaz hops and a lightly sweet malt backbone. Carbonation is too low for style and this is too boring to be a regular beer around my place.
