This is a simple but eminently drinkable and refreshing lager. No funky flavor, light and smooth. I downed three of these in no time. Quite nice.

Big bubbly white head, 2 fingers. Clear dusky yellow body. Lots of carbonation. Non-descript aroma like most cheap (US) domestics. Slightly sweet flavor. Very slight bitterness on the back end. Would be good lawnmower beer, or something I’d order at a restaurant with Asian food!

troopie (1647) - Munchen an der Willamette, Oregon, USA - APR 22, 2012
Bottle. Pale yellow with foamy fast dissipating head. Light lacing. Aroma is hay, lemon and maizey. Light flavour, light body, some adjunct, some oil Tastes like it was made for tourists.

Sweet and surprisingly complex aroma of honey, hay, and even toffee is prominent. Milky golden, full of floaties, thin head. Medium body, sweet honey flavor initially, finishes grassy. Good stuff.

Bottle. Pours a straw-colored base, slightly hazy, with a big macro-like white top. The aroma is heavy on the corn, sweet lemon, and hay. The beer has that nominal "other country lager" thing going on here ... musty, corny malt, creamy mouthfeel. But it’s cleanly made, unoffending, and almost a little bit refreshing. An ordinary pale lager by most accounts but with a few notable characteristics, mostly positive. The texture is slightly creamy, the head is thin white fine foam, the aroma is without any telltale signs of corn, the hopping is very mild, there is a gingery tropical flavor evident with mild melon sweetness in the finish.

12oz bottle: Appearance is golden brown with a fair sized white head. Aroma is simply malt. Flavor is malty with no real character to speak of. No off flavors as I was expecting, so overall an ok beer.

5000 (4113) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - NOV 26, 2011
Bottle:   Translucent straw, thin sudsy white head, barely any lacing, light carbonation.   Corny nose, adjuncts, and general straw/hay sort of aromas.   Soft corn and rice flavors on first sip.   This one is tough, and I wont be finishing it.   No real off flavors, just a poorly made Pale Lager.   Has a lingering mealiness, paper, cardboard like flavors.   Yeah, ugh... corny corny corny.   No more for me...

Well, the label sure is colorful. Definitely the best Tibetan beer I’ve had, though to be fair it’s also the worst.

bought at Specs, when i got home noticed the bottles in the sixer were produced on 10/14/2009, yes, Specs is selling a beer made 2 years ago, discounted to 3.99 a sixer but geez, really?? .. . Aroma of old corn and end of weekend boxer shorts .. . basic hazed gold on the pour, pretty good foam .. . taste, isn’t actually that bad- amazing considering the age on it, probably quite an awesome brew if fresh .. . Seriously, what the hell’s the chicken?

This beer isn’t THAT BAD... It’s more of something cool to try but nothing spectacular. I don’t even know if it has alcohol because I didn’t feel a damn thing!
