Only a thin biege head but shaker had been filled virtually to top. Nose is mostly chocolate with some coffee. Mouthfeel lightly fizzy, a little thin but probably OK for style. Light sloppy lacing. Flavor is fairly deep dark chocolate along with a bit of coffee roastiness. Hints of grassiness on back end. Lightly bitter. Pretty good - liked the depth of flavor. Smells sweet and roasty with a hint of hops. Tastes like roasted caramel and burnt malt. Medium-to light bodied. A little lighter in flavor than expected, but otherwise flawless IMO. Pretty good porter. ruggedman (626), Portland, Maine, USA

Head is big bubbles foamy with a pretty dark color to it. This is a mean looking porter! Aroma is coffee, bitter chocolate, and sweet malt. Tast is pretty much the same but you get a hint of caramel in there too. In the competitive world of porters this stacks up average maybe slightly above in my book.
