Impressive and authentic looking and tasting IPA. Stunned to discover that it’s brewed in the Channel Islands ! Perfectly kept and served by the Blackfriar pub in Central London (cask)

Cask at a pub in Greenwich. Don’t remember the name though. Very light hazy coloured with no carbonation and a small white head. Fruity floral hoppy bitter hinted aroma. Medium palate. Finish is light bitter fruity. Very Nice.

Cask at Garden Gate Hampstead. Amber golden colour, slightly cloudy, white creamy head. Aroma lots of malt and a bit of stink. Lots of grain and a bit of apple. Taste, bit apple juice, only a touch of bitterness, which soon fades. Some fruitiness, but not really very IPA like. Quite smooth though, and not a bad pint.

On cask at The Haymarket. Pours a golden colour with a thick white head. Aroma of grassy hops, yeast and alcohol. Similar flavours and quite bitter. Mild carbonation and an oily mouth-feel.

Cask conditioned Handpump Southwark Tavern London. A murky brown coloured beer with a whitish head. Red fruits throughout. Definite higher level of hopping than the norm, but there are apply notes too, and a bit of pear skin. Probably not in the bst condition, but it doesn’t taste too bad.

Cask at The Clachlan, London. Pours a clear, dark gold with a tight, creamy white head. Clean and fresh hops on the nose, subtle grapefruit. Flavor doesn’t quite match up to the aroma but it’s still good. Pretty sweet, some creamy caramel, ripe citrus, faint grass. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Sweet finish, decent balance, some caramel, toast, easy earth and herbal hops. An alright beer on the whole.

Hand pulled at the Shakespeare (Lower Temple St), Birmingham. Orange, with thick head. Smells faintly of hop and apple. Pretty bland taste. A yawn of sugar hop, then a thick wash of nothing, backed up with a dryish biscuit finish. Does get better, but reasonable only.
