3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Cask at The Clachlan, London. Pours a clear, dark gold with a tight, creamy white head. Clean and fresh hops on the nose, subtle grapefruit. Flavor doesn’t quite match up to the aroma but it’s still good. Pretty sweet, some creamy caramel, ripe citrus, faint grass. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Sweet finish, decent balance, some caramel, toast, easy earth and herbal hops. An alright beer on the whole.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Cask conditioned at The Royal Oak, Oxford. Amber with white head. This is quite a bitter and dry beer with an earthy, slightly muddy flavoured beer. Lasting on the palate, a hint of citrus perhaps but fairly basic mostly. It’s ok.

Cask(@ Windsor Castle, Kensington):Deep golden, hazy, mid-sized loose but persistent head, relatively sweetish nose of flowery and citrussy hops, toasted malt and a slight touch of cough syrup underneath; moderate dryish dryish bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied; not completely dry, but still dryish bitter-sweet flowery to herbal hoppy finish, some juicy malt detectable. Fine session beer…

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Cask at the Post Horn. It pours pours clear amber with a decent white head. The nose is sweet orange citrus, candied peel, oily caramel, wood and sweet floral. The nose taste is firm bitterness, wood, peppery, pithy lemon, florals and some underlying sweetness, with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Rather nice nose to it and drinkable enough. OK.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Cask conditioned Handpump Southwark Tavern London. A murky brown coloured beer with a whitish head. Red fruits throughout. Definite higher level of hopping than the norm, but there are apply notes too, and a bit of pear skin. Probably not in the bst condition, but it doesn’t taste too bad.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Cask @ Post Horn, St. Helier.
Smooth and fresh beginning, intense and smooth. Fine hints of flowery hops. The mainpart is smooth, nice balanced malty with a nice floral bitterness. Not too sweet, but smooth fitting in! The aftertaste is fresh, easy to drink and still deep - nice sweetish maltiness with a subtle aroma of floral hops!
Much better than the bottled version!!

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Hand pulled at the Shakespeare (Lower Temple St), Birmingham. Orange, with thick head. Smells faintly of hop and apple. Pretty bland taste. A yawn of sugar hop, then a thick wash of nothing, backed up with a dryish biscuit finish. Does get better, but reasonable only.
