4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Very nice example of a British IPA. Nice fruity hop flavours which do not overpower the malts. Would be a great session beer.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Cask @ Post Horn, St. Helier.
Smooth and fresh beginning, intense and smooth. Fine hints of flowery hops. The mainpart is smooth, nice balanced malty with a nice floral bitterness. Not too sweet, but smooth fitting in! The aftertaste is fresh, easy to drink and still deep - nice sweetish maltiness with a subtle aroma of floral hops!
Much better than the bottled version!!

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Cask at The Clachlan, London. Pours a clear, dark gold with a tight, creamy white head. Clean and fresh hops on the nose, subtle grapefruit. Flavor doesnít quite match up to the aroma but itís still good. Pretty sweet, some creamy caramel, ripe citrus, faint grass. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Sweet finish, decent balance, some caramel, toast, easy earth and herbal hops. An alright beer on the whole.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Cask conditioned at The Royal Oak, Oxford. Amber with white head. This is quite a bitter and dry beer with an earthy, slightly muddy flavoured beer. Lasting on the palate, a hint of citrus perhaps but fairly basic mostly. Itís ok.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Hand pulled at the Shakespeare (Lower Temple St), Birmingham. Orange, with thick head. Smells faintly of hop and apple. Pretty bland taste. A yawn of sugar hop, then a thick wash of nothing, backed up with a dryish biscuit finish. Does get better, but reasonable only.
