Clear medium to dark amber color with a average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, light roasted and caramel. Flavor is moderate sweet and moderate to heavy bitter with a long duration, roasted nutty bitter, bitter tea - tobacco, star anis notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. Cask at GBBF 2010. A red-brown beer with a lazing off-white head. The aroma has notes of caramel and malt as well as light notes of berries. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and citrusy hops, leading to a dry bitter finish.

Cask £ GBBF 2010. Pours a clear ruby amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity slightly roasted malty spicy caramel aroma. Fruity malty dark fruit flavor with hints of caramel. Has a fruity malty grainy caramel finish.

Cask gravity at GBBF 2010. Reddy brown, lasting beige head. Some fruity malt. Bit dullish to be honest. Fine, some good vitterness onend. But could do with a bit more fruitiness. Bit too sulphur as brewer said. But decent.

Sulphur hop aroma. Mid brown coloured a little rich on the palate and fruity with a hint of dryness in a bitter malt finish.

Cask@GBBF2010. Reddish amber colour, small head. Aroma is pretty much diarrhea like (lots of berries, some yeast and sweetish malts). Flavour is grassy, grainy, yeasy and a bit berryish. If this beer was in condition, it doesn’t suit me at all.

From cask. Pours clear and golden deep amber with a small white head. Aroma is dark malty, slight spiced and roasted. Roasted malty, slight fruity. Breadish and roasted into the finish. Mild bitter into a rather malty finish.
