For better or worse, the blackberry is not strong at all. More just adds a bit of sweetness and a good bit of floral taste. Not too much wheat. Sort of sour and floral and overly sweet. Pretty much a mess. boneyfiend (2), Largo, Florida, USA does not count | 1.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 4/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 3/20 | Jul 23, 2009 Ugh. Terrible example of a fruit wheat beer. Almost no fruit taste at all and the wheat base was so bland. decaturstevo (2010), decatur, Tennessee, USA

Blackberries so light you can’t tell they’re there. A foamy and fizzy mouthfeel. jcwattsrugger (5583), Florida and, New Jersey, USA

| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Dec 30, 2007 On tap at Liberty... Hazy amber-nut pour, with soapy lace. Some fruity notes to the nose, plus a cross between wheat and a warehouse (weird). Dry, citrusy-wheat flavors, and a latent bitter back on the finish. The palate is watery, and not very satisfying, complex, or an interesting take on the style. kp (8600), Woodstock, Georgia, USA

rosey pink, fine pink head, light berry aroma, creamy body, light sweet berry flavor, the sweetness is well contained and balanced well with the lightness of the wheat base beer, a bit of tartness from either the berry or wheat adds nice balance, a very well done brewpub fruit beer,

Lots of malt and berry in aroma. Lots of berry bitterness over medium body. Lots of malt as well, hard to see where the wheat aspect comes in. The Blackberries really came through here, but this was average at best - sort of watery and plain. Ok. skippapotamus (29), USA

Decent head that quickly diminishes. Not much hint of hefeweissen flavors, which may be for the best. Would prefer it to have more wheaty or hoppy flavor, and maybe a slight bit more hop. Good flavor but specific identification of blackberry isn’t prevalent in the beer.
