3.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pitch black beer with a dark coffee head. Very smooth mouthfeel, with strong cacao / coffee flavours and lots of burnt caramel. A bitterness that balances the sweetness very well, like quality dark chocolate. Outstandingly drinkable for such a strong flavoured beer.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Quite tasty although not the best oatmeal stout that I have ever tasted. Probably wouldnít get it again because I think there are better oatmeal stouts out there.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Big black beer with a massive beige head. Aroma is relatively hoppy, spicy, fruity and velvety. Taste has also something soft going on, maybe coming from oatmeal. Strong roasted flavours that are nicely balanced with malt backbone and fragrant hops.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
500ml bottle. Pours an opaque black, with a moderate beige head, which lasts fairly well and leaves decent lacing. Dark chocolate, Vienna coffee and hazelnut make up the aroma. Mild spice hops up front give way to roasty malt and milk chocolate in the mid-palate. Bittersweet dark chocolate comes into the finish, leaving a cocoa aftertaste. This isnít the most complex stout Iíve had, but itís certainly not too bad either.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
I always feel that Iím going against the grain when I donít like a beer. This ors have chocolate notes but there is a persistent and annoying bitterness that is carrying it. I know that you could expect both but these are out of balance. in my opinion.
