Originally reviewed: 7/6/10. Had on tap at the brewpub. Came out a murky honey gold. There was a thick white head on top. Great lacing all over the glass. Big citrus scents burst out. Lots of pine and grapefruit. Some mild honey tones as well.
The mouth is smooth with ample carbonation. This one’s got great bitter flavor. Nice malt balance. Light sweetness present. This is a well-made IPA.

Brewmaster brought a growler to the Pre Sex gathering. Nice guy, likes talking to him. Pours a cloudy lemon rind yellow with one finger of white head. Nose is citrusy with grapefruit zest and some corn, a tad grassy. Flavor is citrusy and grassy with some hay and grapefruit rind. Dry palate with a medium bitterness. Nice.

Sampled on draft at the brewpub. Pours a clear copper color with a large head. Good head retention and lacing. Aroma of resiny, citrus hops with toffee and caramel notes. Taste is bitter citrus and resiny hops, light nutty notes and caramel. Medium bodied and very bitter. The bitterness is lingering. Solid, straightforward IPA.
