COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION Pilsner beer was born in what is now the Czech Republic. As one of the first lagers, with it�s crisp, clean and hoppy character, it has been copied around the world (though most of these are rather bland). Brewed with Liberty hops (basically a American grown version of German Hallertauer Mittlefruh), Liberty Lager is sort of an American take on the Czech Pils. It is golden in appearance. It starts with a clean, spicy hop aroma that gives way to a sweet maltiness and a sharp hop bitterness.
