Joseph Wood could tell you about it. The big boozy nose. The intense roasty flavours. The bitterness. The velvety texture. To be honest however, he would for you to discover this by yourself because you know what they say: once you go black...

Mind blowingly dense, we shared a bottle with 6 and it was perfect as even a small splash takes you a while... Usually Stouts aren;t my thing as I often get very metallic notes, I loved this though. But more as an experience than a beer to drink often or regularly...

A true champion beer that is truly memorable. Best served in a tulip or brandy glass, to be savoured with friends ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Thick syrup when poured in the glass, like liquid marmite, (but not as expensive and easier to find) Very dark red/black in colour, great coffee coloured head. Sweet short black coffee taste. Smooth mouth feel. Awesome work Joe.

This looks and smells great. However, it is not as complex as other good RIS. It just is lacking, not as balanced; a little over hopped.

big hoppy imperial stout. Some good roast but a lot of pineapple hops to back this up. Big turn off. Hops overshadow the roast. Was not impressed one bit

When you pour this beer you expect a lot from it as it is rich and pungent on the nose and looks visually appearing. However while it has good length of flavours I feel a little cheated from the promise it made me when poured as it is not a full bodied as expected. Has a very long finish which is a little dry and bitter. Hate the zork closure.
