I had the Nut Brown Ale on tap on 1/23/08. Appearance: Beer came with a small 1 finger head and looked to be dark brown from what I could tell from the lighting. The smell was nutty with a hint of malted caramel. Taste: Nutty with hints of caramel like the smell as expected with a nice bite of bitterness at the finish. Mouthfeel: Very solid. It wasn’t too thin or thick but was just right. Drinkability: Pretty high. I had two and don’t know that I would want to have more than three in a single sitting. All things considered, this in my favorite offering from Liberty Steakhouse in High Point. I will definitely drink it again.
