COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Styled after an English classic, this beer is brewed with American flair. Hearty brown in color and full- bodied, this beer has a distinct chocolate-malt finish.

Draft (Columbia). NIce mocha/cola malt aroma. Dark brown with a moderate tan head. Creamy coffee malt flavor with nice body - closer to a porter than the typical brown ale. Very nice and drinkable.

Good, not great color. Aroma hints at chocolate malt. Appearance is good but not spectacular. Decent head with some lace. I expected more body but overall a good beer. I will drink more but can’t wait to try the porter sometime soon.

Amber-brown colour. Spiderweb lacing. Nutty, slightly chocolatey aroma. Toasty, nicely balanced brown hits the usual marks.

Had draft at the brewpub’s bar in myrtle. Poured a nice dark brown color with a good amount of offwhite head that lasts. Aroma is nutty, caramely, and malty. Flavor is a bit thin, but has a bittersweet malty caramel base with nutty almond undertones. Overall, I found this to be my favorite of the 4 liberty brews i sampled.

On tap at Tbonz in N. Myrtle Beach. Clear deep brown, head is nil. Toasty malt and a light nutiness in the nose. Roasty malt flavor, more light nuts. Very lively mouthfeel. Just a hint of bitter in the finish. Very clean, but a tad weak for a brown. Still, very drinkable.

Draught at Columbia location. Red-amber-brown. Small head. Sweet malty aroma. Fruitier in the body. Is clean, sweet, and ok.

Growler, about 5 days old, from the Brewpub (SC). Nice dark brown, good sized bubbly white head. Pleasant malty aroma, some nutty notes. Nice mild taste - very nutty with some malt sweetness. The sweetness really kicks in near the end - the start is rather bland. Watery mouthfeel. A decent session type ale.

16 oz draft at the brewpub in Myrtle Beach SC. Poured dark brown with an offwhite head that lingers and laces. Aroma is caramel, nuts, and roasted malt. Flavor is malty, notes of caramel, nuts and a bit of hops on the finish. Palate was somewhat thin but that is expected for a brown ale. Not too bad. Very drinkable.
