This poured a darker brown color with a small off white head. Aroma was light nuttyness, roasted malt and not much else. Flavor was a bit roasted, but a bit weak and soem bittering hops too. Very watery.

Looks like root beer. Very little aroma, but what I do smell is slight roasty porter. Tasty roasty old campfire flavors. Just enough personality to let you know this is dark beer without being too bitter. Decent finish. One of the better brews from Liberty so far.

boy everything taste better at myrtle beach...women, shrimp. pancakes & beer. Liberty is a good steakhouse & they are making more than acceptable beers.Hot girls bringing B- beers is alright with me. Thier darker beers are better that thier light pils or ales.

Draught at the Columbia location. Pours a very dark orangeish brown with a small beige head. The aroma is old cold coffee and a little bit of caramel, maybe hints of vanilla and molasses. The flavor is mild caramel with some roasted coffee notes, some faint hints of bitter chocolate, and a touch of grass. The finish gets nutty after a few sips and forms a very distinct cashew aftertaste. Before too long I can taste the alcohol in it. I found this more drinkable than others... maybe because I had just finished a long drive to Columbia and really needed a beer.

Pour out black with a small tan head. Aroma is malty with subtle hints of choco. Flavor was thin. very thin actually. it took away from this brew.

Tap from the source. Really good porter. Thick head. Rich malty flavor. I’d recommend.

Draught at the brewpub (High Point, NC location). Dark brown color with thin off white head. Almost no aroma other than a weak caramel note. Sour on the tongue with a bit of caramel malt flavor. No roastiness. Thin body.
