3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Yes it was brown but with a deep blush of red. Aromas of dark candied peel, spice and... and... well it was served a little cold to reveal its full and complex palate. Its taste brought out rye, spice, grains and some deeper, spruce and herbal hoppiness. Slightly prickly in countenance, but one that I enjoyed, despite chewing my way through it.

Good gear. Very new world with a flavour packed palate in equal doses malt and hops. Caramel and hints of toffee. Not particularly hoppy. Smart.

Sorry for the lack of info but that was all I had. Pours quite a murky brown with a generous head. Roasted coffee on the nose. Get a bit of scotch malts on the palate.
