3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
On tap: The aroma consists wheat, faint banana, grass, and a touch of cereal/grains. It’s a hazy amber with a small white head that quickly fades to a minimal film outlined by a thin ring. There is some thin webbing left on the sides of the glass. The flavor starts with light grains, banana, and a hint of lemon. The finish has light grass/straw, wheat, and a touch of lemon peel. It’s light bodied with light-moderate carbonation. Overall, it’s an okay lawnmower beer, but not what I’m looking for in a Hefeweizen.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
UPDATED: MAR 11, 2015 Tap @ Liberty Street: Murky, unfiltered golden color, slight orange hints. No head, only a collar from the pour. Aroma is a bit of bubblegum, yeast, and a touch of spice; maybe clove or mint. Hint of rotten banana? Good but a little too soft. Taste is full of soft wheat, light banana bread, touch of Candi sugar, some back end orange-ish fruit. Kind of sweet finish. Relaxed, smooth, thin but creamy mouth feel with rolling carbonation. Not the best hefe ever, but pretty decent.
