Interesting beer. Summery ale with very unique spicing. Must be the thyme. The more I drank the more I enjoyed. I recommend to try. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at Crunchy’s, East Lansing. Murky orange-brown body, no head. Herbal nose with thyme and lemon solvent; strong. Flabby, cerealy body with wheat, thyme, and lemon; the palate is lifeless and flat. Headache-inducing.

Growler courtesy of rayl101. Pours copper with a lasting white head. Smells of sweet citrus, perfumy, wildflowers, some dry malt, some lemony character. Tastes of lemon thyme, caramel, dry citrus, crisp dry malt undertones, earthy with a strong tea presence of the finish. Nice use of fruit and spice in this one.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a hazed pale gold with a white head. Aroma is dominated by lemon and herbs. Flavor has abundant lemon zest and orange, with the thyme definitely there as well. Lots of citrus. This is a really nice herb/fruit beer.

UPDATED: MAR 25, 2011 On tap: The aroma is very citrusy with lots of clementines and light lemon peel. It’s a cloudy dull orange with a small white head. The flavor starts heavy on the citrus with lots of clementine. The finish is what I would describe as herbal, but I wouldn’t recognize thyme, so there’s a good chance that is what I’m tasting. There is also some light lemon peel in the finish. Medium bodied with mild carbonation and a soft mouthfeel.

Sample at MBGSF’10 - citrusy and herbal. Creamy body. weird balance. something is off.
