A complex, well-rounded yet refreshing and crisp lager beer with plenty of malt and hop character. First brewed in 1842, this was the original clear, light colored beer.

It’s a light beer so there’s not a whole lot to it. If you enjoy things on the simpler side of taste, this beer could be for you.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours gold with a white head. Sweet biscuity aroma, maybe a bit of honey. Flavor is quite sweet, with biscuit and a mild citrus hop presence. Seems to be made with macro drinkers in mind, but a solid step up from there.
