COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A malt focused beer with an initial sweetness and a roasted dryness in the finish. A deep reddish-copper color is unmistakable for this style.

Aroma: caramel and malt. Appearance: clear, burnt orange coloring. Taste: more caramel and malt. Palate: light bodied, tons o’ carbonation. Overall: not the best amber. Probably will not get again.

Clear, amber-brown pour with a small, off-white head. The aroma is dominated by caramel malt and bread. It has a light body with slightly sticky texture, average carbonation, and a sweet taste.

From bottle. Pours a clear amber with a small white head. Aroma of caramel and malts. Taste has a mild sweetness, notable hops, balanced, with caramel and malts.

bottle. Most of this ended up on my countertop when the bottle exploded upon opening. I did take a sip of what was left in the bottle, and it was hard to taste much through the ridiculous over-carbonation. Your basic amber with caramel malt and no discernable hops.

Draft at Harrison road house. Decent appearance. Couldn’t get much out of the flavor. It tried to taste a little fruity but ended up falling short

Appearance: Deep amber color. An off-white head. Decent lacing. Smell: Not much to speak of here. It just smells like a beer. Piss poor description, but it does. Definitely dominated by malts, as you’d expect from an amber. Taste/feel: Definitely the best part of Red Glare -- it reminds me of a Hefeweizen. That’s what it really reminds me of, and I love that. It has a lot of banana in the flavor, and then there’s some tasty malt in the finish. Very, very respectable beer. The feel is a bit above average, and it works well with this beer. The banana sweetness with the fizz makes this seem a lot like a Hefeweizen at first, but the finish is more reminiscent of an amber. I like this one quite a bit. I’d gladly have it again .... especially if I happen to get it on tap at Liberty Street.

Bottle from Beer Baron. Copper color with some red, pours with a nice of white head. Solid beer -- malty per the style, very drinkable, light finish with plenty of solid amber taste. Would have again.

At the brewery, red and copper pour with an off white dissipating head. Some caramel malts and some minor roast. Refreshing and good.
