3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap: The aroma consists of citrus, grapefruit, and banana. It’s a mostly transparent golden-orange with a touch of haze and I small white head that that leaves behind some nice lacing rings. The flavor starts with a quick dose of lightly sweet citrus. The finish has banana, lemon, and grapefruit. It’s light-medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Overall, I don’t know where the banana is coming from in a Pale Ale, but this is strikingly similar to Weihenstephaner White Hoplosion...very interesting.
