Almost opaque blonde, good tap handle. Mild, lagerish aroma without much fruit or yeast. Light fruit, verly light tang. Rather bland and a little briny. Wet paper, watery mouthfeel. Next to no finish, but the hops become apparent. Not impressed. On tap, Liberty Taproom, Columbia.

Eh. I had it sans fruit, and it tasted bland and lighter than most white ales I have had. With the orange slice, it had more flavor and was refreshing. If I need fruit to make the beer, it's not worth drinking again.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Draught in a flight at the brewpub. Pours a hazy golden color with a moderate white head on it. Nose has a bit of that grainy wheatiness typically seen with the style, but was really boring to drink. Not bad, just wholly forgettable.

Sampler @ Liberty Steakhouse: Notes say: I can’t rate this; it’s not beer. Diluted is an understatement. I might be able to deal being underwhelmed by this beer if it was 90 degrees outside, however, this on a brisk day in December is not a good match.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Small white head, ok retention with minimal lace. Hazy, gold hued brew. Lightly spicey nose, coriander, vegetal notes and light citrus. Light bodied, watery. Flavors follow suit with the aromas though a tad more pronounced, not much, just a little, clove notes appear. Dry, lightly fruity, spicey finish. Makes Blue Moon look good, DOH!

Classic style Belgian Witbier. Rife with coriander this wit is full flavored with a slight bitter orange peel snap on the end of the swallow. Nice session summer brew. Only downside is that it is butt ugly. Extremely hazy (characteristic of the style) with very little off-white head. Looks like muddy water. A bit more a maize color than most wits I’ve seen, but still spot on from a flavor profile perspective.
