bigtaster (93), Grand Rapids, USA Jul 8, 2008 Tap at bar. Hazy with a golden color. Could have had more hop character. Solid drinkable beer, but could have been more. awaisanen (1100), Irvine, California, USA Dec 28, 2006 On tap at the brewpub. Transparent, honey amber pour with an even layer of white foamy head. Fruity aromas of sweet oranges blend nicely with some soft pink grapefruit hops. Quite citrusy, but soft and smooth around the edges. Medium bodied, borderline creamy mouthfeel. Lightly sweet orange and peach fruits blend nicely with some smooth caramel malt flavors before being balanced by a nice dose of citrusy hops in the final smack. A bit sweeter than most stylistically, but very enjoyable nonetheless. muzzlehatch (4422), Burlington, Vermont, USA Sep 15, 2006 5 oz draught sample at the brewpub, late July 2006. Clear copper with a hint of head, lasting, and bit of lacing....caramel, cherries and a touch of citrus which becomes fairly distinct with warmth in the moderate-strength nose....fruity sweet body dries out and becomes intensely woody/bitter by midpalate, the bitterness continues on....syrupy, full with low carbonation. redlem (1087), Illinois, USA Jun 16, 2006 Slightly cloudy, small head. Seems like Coppertowns big brother but not as balanced. Fairly standard but still tasty. jtw (903), farmington, Michigan, USA Aug 23, 2005 on draft at the brewery. typical IPA, but enjoyable. well-made, if not outstanding. amber and hops and alcohol and it’s done.
