pnista (905), Bloomington, Indiana, USA Jun 29, 2008 Clearer yellowy brown with a thin white head and big bubbles. Light crisp malt with light floral hops over perhaps some slight rye? Definitely some corn. Very light. Thin body, fizzy, slightly creamy. Middling malt over floral hops and slightly spicy. Muddy corn. CO2 acidity. Lingering hops and bitterness, a bit grainy. muzzlehatch (4429), Burlington, USA Sep 15, 2006 5 oz draught sample at the brewpub, late July 2006. Pale amber with a lasting head, little to no lacing....faint carroway and other spices in the nose but it’s a weak draught....sour/tart body with a bit of spoiled/overripe fruit, dries out at the finish....touches of DMS....rather thin and watery with soda-like carbonation....ehh. awaisanen (1187), Irvine, California, USA Jul 8, 2006 On tap at the brewpub. Transparent, golden color tinted a light shade of honey and decorated with a thin white head. Subltly sweet aroma of floral orange blossoms, sweet fall apples, and a mild honey sweetness. Light, fizzy mouthfeel with only a miniscule suggestion of rye. Slightly hoppy, but the hops have a grassy, coppery flavor. Not much else seems to be there. Relatively light, sweet and easy drinking overall. redlem (1111), Illinois, USA Jun 16, 2006 Golden color with a minimal head. Some rye spice in taste but very low hop effect. CharlesDarwin (1442), State College, Pennsylvania, USA Apr 19, 2006 Pour of basketball orange, with no fringe and no head. Light aroma of sweet clean matl. Flavor actually has a ring of toothy pumpernickel followed by a flood of their typifying malt bill, in plain C. Sweet and a touch of ergot fruitness. Then a punch in the nose from classic hops, adding up to pennies, socks and dry grass. This guy has been hanging out with the KBC brewers too much. Poor hopping.
