UPDATED: NOV 27, 2014 500ml ordinary glass on tap @ Frankfurt airport. A: Pours a pale yellow color forming a huge bubbled aired white head. Medium retention and very few lacings left S: Traditional sweet grains smell with notes of citrus and flowery hops T: As the nose, upfront is sweet and mainly composed of sweet malts. Metallic. Cardboard in the taste is a bit annoying and overwhelming. Hops are citrus and flowery M: Very light and watery body. Good carbonation. Sweet upfront and mild bitter hoppy aftertaste O: Medium drinkability. A bit annoying cardboard taste. Not a big German specimens [ BA Review @ 8/9/2012 ]

Typical ’light Pilsener’, in between their regular and their alcohol-free version. Visually the same as the latter, with a creamy, snow white, stable head and pale straw blonde colour. Again a stale, sourish and sweaty, uninviting aroma, grainy with faint flowery hops and a vague lemon touch. Taste sharp and dry grainy, vague sweetish accent but primarily unpleasantly sourish and even a bit wry in the finish. The third Licher beer I had and the third that seriously disappoints me.

Dieses Bier ist im Antrunk und Mittelteil fast völlig geschmacksneutral, erst im Nachgeschmack ist das typische wässrige penetrante Getreidearoma mit Bitterkeit zu erkennen. Test vom 14.3.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 8,4,6,4,7,4 - 4,85
