3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Pours a very clear light amber color with a moderate off-white head on it. Nose has some grains in there, as well as some bread. Taste is much the same, with a bit of toasting coming through as well. Remarkably light and easy.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Fine Fare, Brooklyn bottle: Pours orange with a white head. Aroma is caramel malt and grass. Taste is slightly bitter. Lightly sweet. Not watery and not too sweet malts. Easy to drink. Just about what an oktoberfest should be.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
500ml bottle. Filtered orange-tan body, lots of rising carbonation bubbles climbing to a frothy, soapy white head that fades away after a few minutes. Classic noble hop aroma, but some factory oddness comes out after awhile, sweet malt underneath. Pleasant lager tones, but doesn’t strike me as that fresh. Not the best example. but captures the essence,

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pour is a clear golden with a large white head. Aroma is a decent enough bready malt. Flavor is again a nice bready pure oktoberfest malt. Not very complex and kinda lager watery but this beer relies solely on those malts.

2.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bomber bottle poured a clear yellow hue w/ medium frothy fully diminishing white head. Moderate bready aroma. Initial flavor is light sweet w/ a sharp moderate bitter of short duration. Tastes are straw, caramel, and grass. Light to medium bodied, lively carbonation, watery mouthfeel, and a dry finish.

3.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 20/20
Clear amber, white head. Big body in the first sip. Huge malt, but more balanced with some bitterness than expected. Middle and finish has a bit of an earthy/piney essence too it that most marzens don’t have. The slightly bitter finish mixed with the full body throughout is what would have me coming back to this brew.
