Draught @ Frankfurt Airport. Clear pale golden colour, medium white head. Good lacing. Aroma: wet grassy hoppiness and some malt. Soft mouthfeel. Flavour: mild hoppiness, hardly any bitterness, some maltiness. Rather simple pils.

Pretty light-medium body. Has a nice balance. Small bitterness in a good way and a slightly hoppy aftertaste. Not a bad beer. Not a great beer. This one is kindof middle of the road for me.

Bottle courtesy of and shared with ogivlado (thanks!)
Poured a shiny, pale yellow-golden body with a medium sized head that went away slowly. The nose started with some light vegetabley hopiness and ended with a grainy dry maltiness. That kind of maltiness continued into the taste, this time shadowed by a nice lemony hopiness that matched it well making this a nice, balanced, likable little pils.

Bottle. Pours with a light golden color and a frothy head. Good lacing and the classic musty pils aromas. Nice flavors of hops, grapefruit and a bitter finish.

Pours a pale gold with a big fluffy large bubble white head that zips away all too quickly. Aroma is newly mown grass and some hops. Clean, crisp taste, but not much going on. Some pale malt sweetness along with mild hop bitterness and dishwater. Refreshing as a lawn mower beer, but not much beyond that. A German macro.

Pours a very very clear yellow golden color with a pretty high, bubbly head that fades to a stringy foam. Aroma is a lot of grain and noble hops and slightly spicy hops aroma. Flavor has a light saw dust start, moves into a strong grainy note and a very grassy bite at the end. Lower carbonation, light feeling and a slightly harsh flavor overall. Not too good in my opinion as the flavor is pretty rough.

Situation: School’s officially out--and this pilsener may be just the celebratory champagne for the evening... Glassware: Jever stemmed pilsener... Appearance: clear, light yellow body; pillowy white traces of a frothy head; a bit too light but sports zesty effervescence... Aroma: light scents of banan and soft lager malts; not nearly as metallic as expected... Palate: crisp early, fizzy and deceptively heavier than expected (more Eastern European)--not wimpy at all... Taste: as expected, crisp and thin, with no hop or malt influences to speak of (could pass as a light beer)... the aftertaste doesn’t balance either... Overall: becomes more refreshing as the glass drains--as German pilseners go, this is an interesting representation in that it’s a bit more than expected, with a bit of undesirable notes too...

Pour is a clear gold with a small white head. Aroma is grainy with a little soapyness coming out. Flavor is again lots of grain with some hop bite at the end. Nothing really bad but nothing really great. Seems thrown together for the masses.

Not a bad Euro pils. Pours a clear light yellow color with a small white head that retains a solid 2 cm and with good lacing. Aroma of green hay and light malts. Good bitterness with a fairly dry finish. A good buy.

pkbites (688) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - JUN 27, 2009
Aroma is of hay and grass and hops. Light yellow pour with a frothy head that fades but does not disappear completely. Some real nice lacing on the glass. Very refreshing with a nice bitter aftertaste. Plenty of hops in this for a beer that otherwise has a lighter texture. I had this via bottle at a party in Wauwatosa, WI. on 06/27/09 so I have no idea where it is available or how much it costs.
