A - Pours a clear pale straw with a 1.5 finger of white foam that retains very well.
S - Clean cracker malt, green grassy grain, hints of lemon pepper, lager yeast.
T - Follows the nose. Clean cracker malt with a kiss of lemon sweetness, fresh cut-grassy hops adds perfect balance. Finishes super clean with grassy hops and lager yeast lingering on the back of the tongue.
M - Light bodied, soft carbonation.
This is one the the most balanced German Pils I’ve ever had. It’s near perfect.

Aroma: lightly grassy, hoppy.
Appearance: large, frothy, white, initial head with fair lacing and fully diminishing longevity. Clear, light-yellow body.
Taste: lightly sour, initial flavor and lightly sour/bitter finish with short duration.
Palate: light body, watery texture and lively carbonation.
Overall: I’ve tried Licher from the tap and from the bottle many times, and it is consistantly one of the worst tasting beers I’ve ever had. It’s drinkable but not refreshing. Appearance and aroma are also below average.

0.33 l bottle at Mexicali, Marburg... Clear gold color, average head.. Nice hop aromas... Herb Pilsener taste with high bitterness... Average Pilsener...

Clear golden with a white head. Aroma is mild. Light grass and a bit of cereal. Medium bodied with a crisp bite. Flavor is clean and lightly grassy with a touch of toasted malt on the finish. Easy going German Pils. Good brew.

Bottle. Clear light golden yellow, medium white head. Aroma is light grassy hops and clean grains. Medium sweet cereal grain flavour with a light grassy hop note in the finish. Not terrible.

500 ml bottle. Pours clear golden with a medium sized white head. Bitter fruity aroma. Fruity and bitter taste that kind of stays in the background. Long mildly bitter finish.

500ml bottle. Clear pale yellowish golden colour with average to huge, firm, frothy, white head. Bitter hoppy aroma, decent grainy undertones. Taste is dry, bitter hoppy with pale malty undertones, typical mainstream mediocre standard German Pilsener.

Bottle: Clear, pale greenish-golden, stable foamy white layer, grassy-hoppy nose with some grains in the background; astonishing sweetness in the quite dry bitter flavour, light bodied and pretty soft; short bitter-sweet finish. Not good, but far better than expected…

Pours pale yellow clear body with white creamy veily weak head. Aromas include hops, malts, grains. Palate is thin watery, with medium lively carbonation and mouthfeel. Aftertaste sweet malts and medium short hops finish, some off tastes or herbal notes. End is citrus , lively with dry bitter edge. Quite ok Pilsner. Nothing special apart from some hoppy bitterness. Drinkable and clean.
