Pours a pale yellow with a 2" white head. Moderate lacing with aroma of hay and hops. A good german pilsner for a good price in Kentucky. If you are tired of drinking light beers or double IPA"s I suggest you try this one. Is every one having as much fun as me./

Tap @ Frankfurt airport. Pours golden with a white head. Aroma of bready malt, grain, grassy hops. Taste follows nose with a fairly bitter finish. Medium body, average carbonation. 020112

With the tremendous luxury of wallowing in the many delicious beers here in Belgium, I don’t get the chance that much to experience foreign beers, except when travelling. Bought this one in Wetzlar in a supermarket. When choosing a pilsner, keep with the original Czech or go for the Belgians though ;-).

Bottle. Pours a clear, pale lager yellow with a medium, fluffy, white head that dissipates almost immediately. Aroma is slightly strawy, herbal hops,. Taste is strongly herbal, some grainy malts. Some lemon in the aftertaste. Palate is light, a bit watery even, carbonated. Rather disappointing.
