2.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 1/20
To me, the aroma was very light, very wheaty, with just a touch of sweet in the nose.
Nice, hazy light golden in color with a fluffy, frothy, creamy white head.
Was thinking it was going to be sour and hoppy, but it wasn’t. It was like drinking a cloud. Soft and easy to drink, glides right down your throat, leaving the smallest and very delightful, hint of sour behind. At the forefront was a bit of sweet to mingle with the wheatiness and the malt and the citrus.
All in all, a new favorite. Not up there with Aventinus or Coop’s DNR, but way better than Icehouse and such.

Pour from bottle, dark blond liquid with little head that flattens fast. Smell caramel and taste grain. A very easy to drink wheat beer.

Pour has a darker golden color with a thick coating of white head that retained fairly well. Aroma has banana yeast, wheat, and some clover like grass. Mouth feel is light and there is good steady carbonation. Flavor has wheat, banana yeast, and a faint bit of aged hops.

Keg Pelt Trader London 27/01/14. A hazy tan coloured beer with a whitish head. A typical hefe. Banana, bubblegum and clove. A little vomit in the nose but pleasantly drinkable. A decent hefeweizen.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
0,5 l bottle with a new decent label artwork. Pours in a standard pale orange in the glass. Yeast in the nose. Starts more caramell and wheat, not the typical dominant banana taste. Later a more herb yeasty wheat. Light bitterness at the end. An interesting different point of view for a Weizen. And not bad.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Keg at the Defectors Weld, Shepherds Bush. Usual hazy straw colour. Usual banana and clove taste. Quite sweet this one albeit with a dry finish. But its still an identikit hefe.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Draft in Frankfurt airport. Orange and lemon citrus nose off a thick pillowy head I can smell from a couple of feet away. Some wet slate minerality on the nose as well. Taste follows, full bodied for a wheat but nice linearity of flavored, cloves, pepper, orange citrus, and a drying mineral and light hop finish. Odd layover at the airport here so just bagging a tick but a good brew for before noon if you are ever inclined.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
