Belgian beer meets American and New Zealand Hops, they live happily ever after. Named after the Magic Beaver pond on the farm’s property, LCCB’s Pale Ale is a combination of Belgian Pilsner Malt, authentic Belgian yeast and and American and New Zealand hops. Delicious and easy to drink.

Bottle shared at RBWG ’15 Grand Tasting @ Coppertail, thanks to whomever shared this one, 21/02/15. Hazed orange amber with a moderate off white covering. Nose is tangy citric peel, bitter orange, hint of plastic, light spice. Taste comprises tangy lemon, orange peel, straw, light spice, yeast notes, pale malt. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. So so - not much to it.

Bottle shared by Dr Silverworm via Jay. Poured hazy light copper color with an average to large frothy white head that was mostly lasting with excellent lacing. Moderate yeast and citrus hop aroma. Medium body with smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. This beer met my expectations.

Sample at the DBLDP on 08/31/2014. Pours a hazy amber-gold color with a medium off-white head that recedes steadily to a film. Stringy lacing. Aroma of yeast, malt and fruity hops. Light-bodied with flavors of tropical fruit, yeast and earthy malt.. The finish is fruity with a citrus and yeast aftertaste. Decent overall.

750ml bottle, thanks to Jay A.! Shared with alexsdad06 and tmoney99. Hazy orange amber color. Thin bubbly off-white head. Couple bits of lace. Medium to bigger body. Smooth, kind of crisp, lighter carbonation. Light slick finish. Get that classic musty belgian malt flavor (that I’m not super crazy about). But also some good earthy citrusy and tropical hop to it, too. Pretty solid, tasty belgian pale ale overall. Good bigger hop on it.

can. dark (for a "pale" murky almost amber pour. 3 1/2 months old. Still quite bitter at first, and dry. Opens up to be quite yeasty on the nose and palate, fruit and spicy yeast playing with earthy spicy hops. I dig the balance. I think I’d like this a LOT brewery fresh.

750 ml bottle shared by Jay through DrSilverworm. Pours a hazy golden amber color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have sweet malts, yeast, floral notes, fruity, sweet candi sugar, light bitterness to the finish.

Bottle. Dark bronze pour, the head a bit thin. There’s a bit of a ester-laden twitch in the aroma, but it takes some effort to discern it. This drinks with a metallic feel up front. There’s a follow-on sense of grassy herbs, a bit of floral hop, and a final swirl of mild yeast. I’d prefer a bit more heft to the beer, but this is pleasantly drinkable. (#5470, 3/19/2014)

Keg @ Lickinghole Creek. The pour’s medium amber with a small white head. The nose is spicy Belgian yeast. Honeyed pear, white grape. White bread. The taste is moderately bitter, sweet. More white grape. Sweet honey, caramel. Light sherbet. The finish is somewhat acidic, dirty. Shag tobacco. Medium body, fine carbonation. Overall, smells promising, tastes less complete.
