COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Three Chopt name comes from a nearby colonial era trail marked by three hatchet marks on a tree. LCCBís Tripel is a non-stopped hopped version of a European classic. We use American grown sterling and New Zealand Grown Motueka Hops that help impart a lemon and lime characteristic with a hint of tropical fruit. Multiple hop additions throughout the boil create a textured, full flavor.

750 ml bottle purchased at Whole Foods, Tampa. Deep golden color with almost a burnt orange hue, nearly no head to speak of head. Aroma is light fruits, sugar, subtle yeast and malted wheat.

The flavor shows apricot and pears upfront with the yeast being a stable base of this brew. Some secondary sweet grain notes. The texture is a tad oily with the yeast giving a medium chewy element. The finish has fruity yeast but ends clean. Pretty decent and rather nice to drink.

aroma is instantly fruity in both a good and bad way. doesnít taste much like a tripel per se, and I had to read the bpttle to make sure it wasnít aged on some weird hipster wooden vessel. overall, it was a decent strong fruity beer, but not a fan as a tripel.

Bottle at catch 22 bottle share! Pours a hazy gold with big white head. Aroma of Belgian spicy esters with a sweet malty backbone. Taste is more towards the malty sweetness, barely there Belgian notes. Bubbly carbonation, booze is present but not over the top.

Pours cloudy dark golden color with white head. Doughy and fruity aromas. Belgian yeast flavor with sweet tropical and citrus fruits and some spices. Medium body with moderate carbonation.

Nick shared a bottle at the house with Brian and I. Snifters. Pours a fairly cloudy yellow-orange with a large pillow head. The lacing was quite nice. Aroma is light fruits like lemons, pears, and hint of apple with some sweet candies and Belgium yeasts. The taste is fruity up front with lemon and pears and then transitions into a rather hoppy, bitter finish for a Tripel. The Belgium yeasts are somewhat present but not overly done. Well balanced and fresh tasting. Active carbonation and body is light to moderate. The finish kind of pops you with hops. Good.

750ml bottle pours a very hazy, deep bold with some lacing, soapy white head. Nose has a lot of tropical fruit, guava, pineapple, honey, candy sugar, yeasty, some pear, a little melon. Flavor follows right along, loads of fruit, melon, guava, pineapple, quite yeasty, almost a bit chalky, some pear, some candy, a little bubblegum, some lemon, some orange. I didnít get a ton of hop. Perhaps a little limey character from the Motueka. Full bodied, peppery, chalky finish. Liked this. I would get more of this.

750 ml bottle. (Shenandoah Hops) Staunton, VA. Slightly cloudy golden colour with a small white head. Hops, fruits, sweetness, mild yeast and some malt in the aroma. Strong hops, moderate bitterness, alcohol, yeast and malt in the flavour. Strong. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle, courtesy of a kind soul... shared in a location remote of my dining room.
Pours a very hazy yellow with a decent head and some nice lacing on the glass.

The aroma is peppercorn, some flowers, and plenty of honey. Itís got a little fruit and spice as well.

The flavor is pear and candied fruit. Itís got peppercorn and lavender with a mild bitterness. Overall itís got more sweetness than I would care for in the style, but itís certainly got a flavor profile suited to a stylistically appropriate and enjoyable Tripel.

Bottle shared by Ed, thank you sir! Hazy golden yellow color, medium white head. Aroma of peppery mixed spice, fresh hay. Taste has subtle citrus, spice, raw bread dough. Decent.
