On keg at Lido in Riga. Pours a light golden colour with a fair white head. Aroma of bready yeast, caramel and barley. Similar flavours with a nice bready yeast linger. A foamy mouth-feel with mild carbonation and CO2 prickle. Very bready overall. Not bad.

Draught@Lido Alus Seta, Riga, Latvia - 25/2/2011. Golden appearance with minimal white head. Some honey in aroma and flavor. Otherwise quite typical Golden Ale.

Draught, 4.5% at LIDO. Hazy golden colour, almost no head. The flavour is slightly sweet with a little vinous paper note that must be from the honey. Tastes all right, actually. Good, mild carbonation.

Draught at Alus Seta. Lovely hazy beer. The label says mead, but this is a beer flavoured with honey, and that is nothing to be ashamaed of. The honey blends well with the rest, giving an aromatic beer, not too sweet, that is a splendid match for their rich food.
Some bitterness in the finish.

Draught @ Lido. It also says "Mead" on the tap (?). Pale deep golden colour. Aroma is bitter with malt and some honey. Bitter malty honey flavour. The finish is bitter with honey.

Very malty aroma. Light gold, thin head. Clean creamy malty and honey taste. Also honey in aroma. Very drinkable, sessionable I’m sure. Honey might be off-putting to some.

Draft at a Lido pub (Alus Seta) in Riga. Honey-mead aroma. A bit hazy golden yellow with a huge white head. Taste surprisingly bitter, but is silky with a finish of honey.

Had this on tap at the bizarre Lido microbrewery on the outskirts of Riga in Nov 2004 it is housed in a wooden lodge complete with ice rink and kids entertainments quite possible the strangest micro brewery that I have ever been to. The beer was fine, a bit malty, a touch sweet some hops there certainly ok.
