UPDATED: NOV 25, 2014 Pours almost black liquid with a brief head leaving a ring on glass. The aroma is present: brown sugar, roasted malt, dryed fruit. Medium body. A lot sweetness at taste with aromatic impressions among. Finishes mildly with malty profile. Low bitterness. Pleasant.

(bottle) Not as dark as expected: clear, dark brown colour with a beige and fluffy foamy head. Sweet and slightly roasted malty aroma with a subtle note of dried fruits, as well as traces of chocolate and marzipan. Sweet flavour, medium bodied with a quite soft carbonation. Slightly roasted malty taste with dried fruity and nutty notes, backed by a touch of sweet chocolate and molasses; rather sweet and mildly roasted malty finish with a slightly vinous fruity touch. A tad sweet but likeable. 20.IV.11

Barwa: głeboko miedziana / brązowa, klarowna. Piana beżowa, drobno pęcherzykowa, początkowo obfita, ale szybko opadająca. Aromat: słodki, karmelowy, lekko kwaskowy, ciastkowy. Smak: wyjątkowo śłodki, potem lekko wytrawne nuty z ciemnych słodów zbli zone do kakao i alkoholowa końcówka.

Bottle: Clear, deep amber coloured, stable medium-sized tanned head; dark dried fruits in the moderate sweet dark-malty and nutty nose; moderate to solid sweet flavour, medium bodied, sticky; nutty-caramelly finish with a whiff of nearly not detectable bitternesss in the aftertaste. Way too sweet for me.........

deep red pour with non existent head. Aroma: faint (caramel, molasses). Taste: cloying sweet caramel with burnt notes, malty backbone, vinous, quite boozy. Mild plasticy bitterness in the aftertaste fails to balance the syrupy mouthfeel

Bottle. Aroma alcoholey, caramel. Plums. Dark reddish brown colour. Taste is really sweet, alcohol does not show itself. Simple, caramel, lightly fruity. Not bad, quite drinkable. Amongst its concurence, I might even go as far as to call this good.
