500ml bottle from a Moscow grocery store. Pours pale yellow with a frothy white head. No lacing. Grainy aroma. Taste is sweet and malty. Unlike the name suggests, it isn’t anything special.

Bottle 500ml, yellow-issh label with a ship. Poured into a glass tankard at home, ABV 5.2% Golden yellow colour on the body, small frothy white head on top, low retention, minimal lacing on the glass. Light malty aroma, some hay and grass. Okay taste, sweet and malty, some grass again. Thin body, average carbonation. Overall okay beer, drinks pleasantly, good to have on the table.

djoeye (2260) - Tromsø, NORWAY - JUL 6, 2014
Pale clear straw yellow beer, white head for half a minute barely. Faint scents of grass and bread. Mild taste, grassy hops, pale malts, bread, and some bitterness appears towards finish, with an alcoholic twist. Normal on palate. Nice warming finish with bread, rubbered malts, grains. [Lidskoe not written anywhere on 50cl brown bottle abv5.2%, B@Maxima Marijampole Lietuva, T@ukrainian wife’s birthday]

Bottle 50cl. With new labels featuring a small vikingship as trademark. Clear pale yellow, small white foamy gradually fading head, nice lacing; aroma sweet malty, corn, hint of floral hops; taste malty sweet, slightly bitter; medium body, watery texture, average carbonation; light bittersweet finish, bit metallic.

pivnizub (9199) - Bochum, Porúří, GERMANY - APR 14, 2014
Bottle: Pale greenish-golden with a stable white head; sweetish corny-grainy nose including a distinctive metallic tinge; pretty bland sweetish flavour, hoppy traces hardly detectable, light to medium bodied; slightly drier and a bit more bitter in the still sweetish-corny finish. One bottle is enough…

Zarkam (531) - Helsinki, FINLAND - FEB 13, 2014
500ml bottle from a convenience store in st. Petersburg. Clear light yellow colour, large frothy mostly vanishing head, little lacing. Moderately malty aroma of grain and brad, light floral hops. Taste is initially moderately sweet and slightly acidic, turning into a light bittersweet finish with a chalky feel and a hint of alcohol. Medium body, oily texture, lively carbonation. A bit too sweet to be refreshing like the usual bulk lagers and doesn’t have much character either. Palate isn’t too bad but still better to be avoided.

MarkoNm (1296) - Novo mesto, SLOVENIA - FEB 2, 2014
Pours a very pale yellow with about a finger of white head with a medium retention. The aroma is sweet malts with some grains as well. The taste starts sweet, almost a tiny bit too sweet, but continues with a mild bitterness. The finish is slightly metallic, but still drinkable. Not the best one, nor the worst.

Erzengel (5306) - Wuppertal, GERMANY - DEC 20, 2013
The beer starts quite sweet, Not very special and not really good. Far to sweet and artificial for a pale lager. The mainpart is subtle still artificial sweet and a bit bready-grainy. The aftertaste is medium, bitter-chemical and unround.
--> a bad example of a pale lager. Not really recommended! --> 4/10/3/4

UPDATED: NOV 22, 2014 Pale yellow. Soapy head. Aroma of yeast, grains, bread, acids. Medium satisfying body. Soft carbonation. Light sweet & light sour taste with hardly any hops. Grainy finish. Not impressive still drinkable.

Botella de 500ml. Vaso Lager. 500ml bottle. Lager glass. Enjoyed on jul´12. Pale straw color & crystal clear appearance. White, medium bubbled, froth. Slowly dissipated crown. Herbal & grass touch, citric aromas. Slightly metallic odor. Moderate citric flavor , grainy palate. Light body, medium to high carbonation. Smooth malts & citric bitterness in the middle lingers into dry finish. This one is not boring neither fat as many Euro Pale Lagers. Not the better I´ve ever had but not the worse either.
