UPDATED: AUG 4, 2010 (bottle) pours a clear golden colour with a dense white head. aroma of herbal hops, pale malts, light hazelnut and pear. flavour is the same, with dominant grain and wort. medium body and carbonation with a light bitter finish.

Small head and pale color. Some smallmaltiness and sweetness but not much else. Resembles mainstream lager from any large brewery.

Bottled. A golden beer with an off-white head. The aroma is malty combined with notes of butter, while the flavor is sweet and acidc, with a dry and dusty finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.

Bottle: Deep golden, clear, quite stable mid-sized head; grainy, worty nose with a dah of hayish hops; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied, low carbonation; longer aromatic-hoppy finish, combined with traces of wort. Quite medoicre by franconian standards..........

Clear medium orange color with a large, frothy - creamy, good lancing, fully lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy buttery. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily - smooth, carbonation is soft. (070608)

Dark golden with a nice head. The aroma has notes of fresh hay, flower, caramel and malt. The flavour has a light sweetness, light notes of straw, hints of flower, caramel, malt and a slightly dry bitterness.

(Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of yespr. Clear deep golden albeit with floating impurities and a dense, off-white head leaving laces. Aroma of malt and a little butter. Slightly watery body, comes lightly tart with some malt present. Dry finish. 050608

50 cL bottle, trade with Maria. Pours golden orange with a lot of small yeast floaties. Diminishing white head. Mild buttery and mild spiced note makes out the aroma. Flavour is mildly buttery and spiced. Light spiced finish.

(bottle) Clear, deep golden to amber colour with a fluffy and persistent, almost white foamy head. Slightly dusty and sweet grainy, lemon-fruity aroma with notes of hay and herbal hops. Moderately bitter flavour on a soft-sweet malty base with a nice subtle fruit-character and light notes of caramel; light to medium bodied with a moderate, pleasant carbonation; almost dry, sweet bitter finish with light herbal hops. Aromatic Franconian Landbier.

Not dark, but amber colored. Malty aroma and taste. I found coffee in the taste. Hopbitter aftertaste with a hint of metal.
