Neutral-roasted nose. The beer starts smooth, dark, hints of sourness that makes it quite drinkable. But not too deep in aroma. Espresso and chocolate hints, but not too deep. The aftertaste is not too long, malty-roasted, but not too deep.

Bottle @ weekly tasting shared with Dutchdrebus. Opaque black color, average sized light brown head that leaves fair lacing. Aroma doesn’t have as much coffee as I had expected and hoped. In fact, it’s quite a challenge to detect coffee at all. I get malts, lightly roast and alright, slightly coffee. Taste malts, some more coffee now and a light bitterness. Decent body, medium carbonation. Surprisingly well done.

Bottle. Dark brown, small to average and mostly diminishing light brown head. Moderate malty and sweetish aroma, light caramel and roasted malt with some coffee. Light to moderate malty and sweetish flavor, light roasted malt and coffee. Finish is average, malty and lightly sweetish, light roasted malt and coffee, faint licorice, average duration. OK lightly sweetish stout (not really a dry stout). Body is quite thin for stout.

33cl bottle thanks to Beerhunter111. Cheers for this new country! Color is quite nice and head is brown and smooth. Body is a bit thin. Taste is medium bitter. Aroma is medium coffeed, a bit yeasty, otherwise easy drinkable.

(bottle, 33cl) Black colour with a brown and firm medium-sized foamy head. Leathery roast-malty aroma with notes of caramel and candied mocha beans. Moderately sweet and slightly roasty bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a calm carbonation. Moderately roasted malty base with notes of coffee, dark chocolate and liquorice; roasty bitter finish, not really dry with a present residual sweetness, backed by flavours of coffee and dark chocolate. Likeable Stout. 29.V.14
