Dunkler, wenig aromatischer Antrunk, fast wässrig. Im Mittelteil ebenfalls kaum aromatisch, ich schmecke weder Stout noch Kaffee. Minimal röstig, moderat herb, sehr lagweilig. 9/7/8/6/9/6

draught@4th craft bier festival in Rapperswil - dark brown beer with a modest head retention; roasted coffeish aroma with hints of butter and vanilla, earthy; medium-bodied, a subtle yet fair carbonation, light astringent and quite dry and bitter earthy and tart roasted chocolatey finish - raw

330 ml. bottle. Thanks Henrik! Pours a dark reddish brown with a nice tan head. Aroma of coffee, malt, and fruit. Taste is coffee, roasted malt, dark fruit, and some chocolate. A bit thin. Pretty good.

Good black w/ light brown little lacing foam head. Not too strong aroma, hints of coffee, some bitterness. Light bitter taste, some coffee, some bread. Short small bitter aftertaste. (Velp 201409)

Flaske delt på RBHD-samlinga hos Asle Bjørn: beige skum, mørkebrun væske, ufrisk aroma som minner om tynn traktekaffe. Smaker heldigvis litt bedre, men ettersmaken er vandig. Men gøy med et nytt land!

Shared bottle. Clear deep mahogany body with a light brown head. Dark caramel sauce and a hint of Turkish coffee on the nose. Coffee, chocolate and toasted malts in the mouth and light astringent with a sharp carbonation. Medium to full bodied. Long finish with coffee present.

Shared 330 ml bottle at local tasting. Very dark brown colour, nearly black. Moderate beige head. Unpleasant aroma of solvent, covering up the maltier notes in the background. Dry flavour, notes of cold coffee. Not something I would buy again.

Holmen2 (906) - NORWAY - AUG 29, 2014
Very dark brown. Pale brown head. Uninviting aroma of coffe, sour chocolate and oysters served in a warm country far away from the ocean. Taste is slightly better though, with waterish chocolate. Waterish. Polluted canal watersish.

gunnar (5297) - Sandnes, NORWAY - AUG 29, 2014
Shared bottle a local tasting. Pours almost clear dark brown with a tiny tanned head. Aroma of coffee, dark fruits as well. Taste is dry, weak sour cold coffee with a fizzy and fruity finish. New country.

Bottle. Almost black, huge quite quickly collapsing tanned foamy head; moderate to solid sweet toasty nose with lots of dried fruits and really a good dash of coffee; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, almost medium bodied, smooth; slightly lingering toasty and fruity finish with a certain mix of fruitiness and sourness in the aftertaste. Good...
