Bottle, 5.5%. Mild coffee aroma. Cloudy very dark brown colour. Small unstable light brown head. The flavour has an OK coffee note. Gets a little fruity and then ends on a mild coffee note. A bit weak, but tastes quite nice.

Bottle. Pours cloudy coffee brown with airy tan head. Clear aroma of coffee and malt with notes of roast and liquorice. Bitter, roasty onset, giving way to sweetish notes of caramel malt and coffee, receding into a hoppy finish. Bitter and slightly roasty aftertaste. Not bad.

Neutral-roasted nose. The beer starts smooth, dark, hints of sourness that makes it quite drinkable. But not too deep in aroma. Espresso and chocolate hints, but not too deep. The aftertaste is not too long, malty-roasted, but not too deep.

Bottle @ weekly tasting shared with Dutchdrebus. Opaque black color, average sized light brown head that leaves fair lacing. Aroma doesn’t have as much coffee as I had expected and hoped. In fact, it’s quite a challenge to detect coffee at all. I get malts, lightly roast and alright, slightly coffee. Taste malts, some more coffee now and a light bitterness. Decent body, medium carbonation. Surprisingly well done.

Bottle. Dark brown, small to average and mostly diminishing light brown head. Moderate malty and sweetish aroma, light caramel and roasted malt with some coffee. Light to moderate malty and sweetish flavor, light roasted malt and coffee. Finish is average, malty and lightly sweetish, light roasted malt and coffee, faint licorice, average duration. OK lightly sweetish stout (not really a dry stout). Body is quite thin for stout.

Shared a 33cl bottle. Pours a really dark brown colour with a thin tan head. Aroma is dark chocolate, roasted, coffee and alcohol. Average carbonation and medium body. Taste is medium sweet and medium bitter. Overall, a very nice brew.

Bottle from trade with McTapps, many thanks Sabine. Dark brown color with huge beige head. Roasted malt, coffee in aroma. Roasted malt, coffee, milk chocolate, licorice in taste. Good.
