[Bottle bought in Vaduz, Liechtenstrin at a petrolstation, july 2011.] The best of the 3 länder. Nothing special, but it worked well with clear yellow look and pale white head and notes of straw and low grass.

Bouteille: Honeyish-grainy nose, small white layer; light sweetish-bitter flavour, light bodied; drier malty and bitter finish. A bit boring…

Pale golden color, clear; quickly dissipating white head - aroma: grains, cereals, bread, some hints of hay and citrus hops - taste is medium bitter with a very light sweetness - light body, rather thin texture, average carbonation - long, slightly bitter, grainy finish.

Review: Bottle of Liechtensteiner Brauhaus Hell’s, 5%ABV The beers produced by the Liechtensteiner Brauhaus are brewed with the best craftsmanship and using only the finest ingredients. A special mashing process, partially handed, using natural hops, a slow fermentation process and a long cold maturation in low temperatures ensure the highest quality clean and fresh beers. When you think that the Alps and the Rhine is the backdrop to this brewery then it would make sense to have a good high expectation for this beer. Pours a lovely golden colour, with a very good sized frothy head with some lacing. This very clean beer looks pretty damn good. Top marks for appearance. The aroma was also very enticing. I got notes of sweet grainy malts, some fruitiness, and a very rustic kind of smell (the smell of the Alps perhaps?). Again top marks, this time for the smell. On taste I got a nice light flavour of grainy malts, some sweetness, a bit of caramel The aftertaste was interesting, a touch of hops biting at the end. Overall I liked this beer. I had it straight from a cool fridge and it tasted really smooth and very drinkable. Each mouthful had a lovely feel to it and had a lot going on with a nice mix of flavours, making this beer a favourite. Not a very strong drink but very drinkable, and it would be a decent session beer. A good refreshing beer.

Pours clear golden color with a small head. Grassy, herbal and a bit woody aroma. Hay and corn on flavor, some faint fruits also. Quite straightforward. A bit dull, no off-flavors.

330 ml bottle. Pours a clear golden colour with a small head. Aroma of sweet grainy malts, cardboard and grass. Light flavour of harsh grainy malts, pear juice, cardboard and sugar. Light bodied and high carbonation. Harsh.

Clear golden yellow white lacing foam head. Barley aroma and taste of normal ale. But it's a new country and it was warm enough outside to enjoy it. (Chaam 201408) ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. A clear, golden beer topped by a finger-thick white head. The aroma has a distinct burnt rubber touch, with some pale malts and fruityness in the back. It’s soft and thin on the palate, with a low carbonation level. Fruity flavor with a faint bitterness. Some malts in the back. Fruity finish. Luckily the flavor isn’t as rubbery as the aroma, still it’s pretty uninteresting. 140808
