0.5 l bottle, thanks hanniku! Golden color. Sweet honeyish aroma with pale bread. Honeyish malty flavor with restrained herbal-peppery hoppiness and hint of citrus. A bit duller mineral water like finish.

I am trying to drink around the world: so when I came to the Liechtenstein tourist area at the 2012 International Green Week in Berlin I wandered over to the lady and asked if she had any beers to sell. Sadly she didn’t, but on discovering I’d actaully visited her country many years ago she offered me a free half bottle (500ml size) of Krona to try. She explained they hadn’t paid for a selling licence but could give away alcohol if they wished too. The beer is very pale, golden but straw light in colour, the head being your regular lager snow white and thin. Very little smell, some hops hanging around but not much of anything really. Taste was soft, sweet for a lager, but otherwise a bit boring: to be fair there was a mild hop bitterness in the background but I found the beer uninteresting and just another tick on my cruise around the globe. I thanked the kind lady and saw her again the following day: we smiled but didn’t speak.

Bottle by 05.12. Sweet nose with bright malt. Clear, burnished gold body with a sudsy white head. Taste lightly bittersweet, some harsh scratchy grain and dish soap, leaves a musty aftertaste and there’s more alcohol showing than hops. Light-medium body with some impurity. Blech.

Can 50cl from Quack-Duck thanks ! A clear yellow beer with low head. Nose is malty and slightly fruity. Aroma is medium sweet, grainy, nutty, with a sourish / apricot like note. Finish is medium hopy, classic cheap lager.

Brauhaus KRONA! Had this at GT’s place, with everybody else. Yellow with no head. Like shooting’ piss in a barrel. Smells like glass, tastes like tourist marketing.
