29/VIII/14 - 33cl bottle from? Totally forgot. @ home - BB: 15/X/17 (2014-957)

Clear dark brown beer, creamy beige head, little stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: chocolate, caramel, banana, sweet. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: little sweet, sour touch, bitter cocoa powder, mocha, some caramel, coffee. Aftertaste: very roasted, burnt malt, hoppy bitterness, dry, almost resinous. Curious about the hops in this one.

tricksta_p (1185) - Steenwijk, NETHERLANDS - AUG 24, 2014
Aroma of roasted malts, chocolate, light coffee. Flavour is roasty, chocolate, with a light bitter finish. Too weak and light to be a true Imperial Stout, but taken as a ’regular’ Stout this one is just fine.

Pours opaque dark brown with tan flecks of crud. Small tan head. Not much aroma. This style should have *loads* of aroma. Not balanced. The alcohol hits on the front, pretty much obliterating everything until you get an ashy finish. Blech.
