#399... 0.33 l bottle from belgianshop.com, without etiquette, BB Mar 2008. Poured golden body with medium-bigger head. Quite nice aroma, yeasty and malty, with banana, lemon, orange and some spices, just what one would expect. Bit oldish flavor, it’s notable this is not fresh, first sip was sourish and not so pleasant but others were really nice, ranging between bitter, sourish and sweet. Pretty full bodied, finishing with honey flavor leaving on the palate for long time. Nice ale, much better than many higher rated.

Mid orange, tiny head. Sharp and sour hoppy aroma. Also fleshy and light fruits. Very soft mouthfeel, pleasant carbonation. Very malty body, rich caramel, and soft but quite potent hops. Subtle but long hoppy bitter finish. Looking forward to having this again.

Wow, this has aged beautifully. Super raisiny aroma, cognacy too. Sweet body, but also pleasantly nutty. No hint of alcohol. Beautifully mellow. Finish lacking as much hop character as before, but still a little biting bitterness.

Bottled. A golden beer with a very slight haze under a bubbly off-white head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of fruit, especially peaches, but also with notes of alcohol and hints of yeast. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of fruit (again peaches being most dominant, but also some citrus), yeast, dusty hops, and some spices, leading to a dry finish. The body is a bit thin.

Served from bottle in a La Guillotine glass. Interesting smell. Wheat, spices, honey? Some citric as mentioned before, small head, gold appearance. A little too thin for my taste in general..

Pale deep golden colour with a big good lasting white head leaving a good lacing. Sweet and yeasty fruity aroma with honey and some spice. The flavour is rather sweet with yeast, ripe fruits, malt and some spices. Quite sweet and fruity finish. Good but too sweet.

Bottle. [Great two day tasting session @ Papsoe] Small fizzy off-white head that mostly diminished. Somewhat cloudy golden color. Fair display of lacework. Fruity, citrus, caramel, grain. Over the palate light alcoholic notes with some brown sugar, hint of toasted malt. Medium bodied with an average carbonation. Moderated sweet flavor, hint of acidic. Sweet fruity finish.
