Bottle. Thin and too sweet. Sweet floral apricot characters, with a fizzy finish, and the sweetness remains to the end. Lightly watery finish. This is down there with Leffe.

Bottled - Beer Circus - Croydon. A blonde coloured beer with a slight white head. The aroma is slightly sweet with some biscuit notes. Quite lagerish grassy notes also. The taste is thin with some sweet floral notes. Thin and not very exciting.

Bottled. Clear dark golden, not much head. Fruity, apples and prunes in the nose. Sweet fruity with alcohol punch. Carbonated. Thin mouthfeel. Too sweet and quite "commercial" blonde.

Draft, In de Wildeman. Clear golden color, short white head. Aroma is very fruity, some strawberry, bit citrus, soft gueuze tartness. Sweet and sour taste, quite refreshing though. Very strange brew, but a nice welcome in the usual beer selection.

On draft at In De Wildeman, Amsterdam. Clear golden coloured, nice lacing. Some spices (i’m never sure which ones) and some fruit (citrus). Very refreshing flavour, some sourness, malts. Nice!

Draft at the Erasmus in Brugge, Belgium. Transparent and uncarbonated body with a yellow hue. Good lacing. Aroma was some malt and spicy notes. Flavor was malty. Smooth and dry mouthfeel. Light bodied beer that was pretty decent.

The DM & Hotstuff’s European Honeymoon trip beer number 27. This draft brew from the Erasmus pub in Brugge poured a uncarbonated transparent yellow golden colored body from a head that left a good lacing. The aroma was strong with an overriding yet good sweaty sock note and more mellow malty and doughy notes. The mouth feel was smooth with a vinous malty flavor. This brew was very yummy tasty and just plain good overall.

(draught)Totally clear gold; slim white head leaving some lace. Spicey nose, more than a little citrus; ginger & pepper - maybe grains of Paradise? Quite dry, but refreshing taste; grassy, as freshly mown grass, and malty, in the way the malt smells before kilning. Little bit of liquorice. Refreshing, like fresh mineral water, light MF, not thin. Light, but quite good refreshing beer, like an excellent pilsener, brewed with top fermenting yeasts.
