Dark and very cloudy. I had not expected that. But everything else from this beer is nice. The aroma welcomes you with freshly squeezed fruit that continues in the taste, with lots of fresh sour cherries.

Pours red color with a pink head. Aroma of cherries, grassy notes, some sour fruit notes and yeast. Flavor is pretty much the same with wooden notes. Nice.

Sourish fruity nose. Pale head. Clear dark reddish color. Sweet cherryish and slightly sour taste. Well balanced. Not too cherryish.

Bottle at home. Had this after the regular Liefmans and it was a nice surprise. A very nice combination of sour and sweet. Reminded me of Duchesse de Bourgogne.

Bottle from Wegmans. Pours murky brown with almost no head to speak of. Kind of an ugly beer, honestly. The aroma is dominated by tart cherries and sweetness. The taste has a nice tart / sweetness balance that is dominated by cherries with a sweet finish. Very good overall sour brew.

Draft pour cloudy amber. Nose of cherry, but hints at medicinal. Taste of tart sour cherry. Like a sweet tart. Salivary gland work out.

37,5 cl bottle @ home, BBE 02.09.2020
Aroma is rather nice with earthy notes, some sourish cherries, juicy notes and hints of vinegar. Flavour has fruit juice, sugary notes, some tartness, wood and earthy notes. A nice mixture of sour and sweet elements.

Bouteille 375ml.

I like sour beers... and this is VERY sour. Holy cow, this is loaded with flavor and is VERY complex. I also like how, as you drink, the sour flavor leaves your palate and you are left begging for more. This is a big bottle (750ml) and should be shared. But all craft beer should be shared. Also a cool story about the brewing process. They brew this once a year, let it sit in the cherries for 12-18 months, then age (cellar) for 3 years... then the beer is blended, bottled, and enjoyed by all! VERY good offering, and I can’t wait to try their other sours.
