Ale brewed with cherries with natural flavor added. Contains barley malt. Wrap label: "Liefmans Cuvée - Brut is brewed only once a year, in July. After brewing freshly harvested and carefully selected cherries are blended in and the beer is cellared at the brewery. After a slow maturation of 18 months to 3 years different vintages are carefully tasted and blended to create the final result: a complex deep-red ale with refreshing balanced tart-sweet taste, strong cherry notes and sparkling carbonation."

95 vintage bottle shared at the 2014 tasting in the Cellar of Moeder Lambic Saint-Gilles. Pours cloudy red with no head. Aroma is completely strong cherry still. Flavor is moderate sour with a soft mouthfeel. The fruit is still so fresh in the palate. Medium bodied with flat carbonation.

Very nice beuatiful deep red brown. Fresh fruit taste up front and moves into caramel, vanilla, candied suger. Reminds me of candied apples at times. Slight wood dryness but not much, its subtle. But there is not too much subtly in this beer. Flavors are up front, sweet but not sticky sweet.

Polecam to eleganckie piwo.

Slightly cloudy, rose-pink color, with an old-lace head that quickly dissipates. Nose is slightly tart cherry, followed by some slightly tart cherry. Taste is significantly more sour, although the berry and cherry notes come through loud and clear. Crisp and light, with almost a fruit soda profile. Terrific for the style. Not too sweet. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Lovely and surprising sweet/sour taste that lasts. Colour is nice abd red. The foam dies away quite fast but the taste makes for it. Very drinkable!

375ml bottle. Pours a clean, dark rubyith a thin, bubbly white head. Aroma had big notes of tart cherries and not much else. Exactly what I expected. Taste is slightly sweet to start then quickly moves to a tart cherry, then back to a semi sweet cherry aftertaste. Medium body with a medium high carbonation. Slightly syrupy in the mouth but not super sweet. Overall tasty. Lots of tart cherry flavour with just enough sweetness to make it not sour. Would get again.
