thick, rich cherry flavor nose. smooth flavor, on front-middle of tongue. nice balanced. well done sour beer with cherry added.

750----> tulip. Pours a dark ruby with a small pink head and great lacing. Aroma is pretty straightforward raspberries and white wine. Taste follows aroma with a minor bit of sour at the end. Nice lively palate, but not overdone. I kind of wish this had been a bit more sour, but it’s a nice fruit beer that drinks easy (even my non-beer geek wife enjoyed).

Medium purple/red colour with rather small pink head. Fruity berryish aroma. Intense cherry taste, seems authentic. Very pleasant sweet/sour/CO2 balance, refreshing. A noble product.

Bottled at Cornelis Grythyttan. Pours wine red with a huge purple head. Smells sweet cherry, abit sour. Tastes creamy sour, cherries, abit red current.

Very nice. This was not a typical sour but more like a kriek. Pleasant fruit and cherry aroma. Dark ruby color with minimal and quickly disappearing head. Smooth palate with a dry finish. Very fruity with a cherry sweetness and tartness. Little alcohol presence. Refreshing.

Like Dorothy’s slippers, beautiful ruby red. Small light pink head. Cherries in the aroma. The flavor has sweet and sour cherries. The finish is clean and crisp.

Bottle a ÖÖWF 2012. Aroma of cherries, curant and läkerol (!). Tastes tangy, cherries, sweet liquorice. Wonderful balance, wonderful beer.

091112. Bottle at home (aged a year or so). Pours dark clear red with a small, almost no head. Aroma kriek, ripe fruit. Sweet cherry flavor in an awesome balance. Not Bad.

(From notes 2 Nov, 2012) Bottle. Very slightly pink (off-white) head. Red/orange-colored clear beer. Sweet smell, some cherry I guess; caramel. Tastes sweet and sour, slight oakiness. Medium carbonation, a bit bubbly. Aftertaste is a short sour.
Overall quite a refreshing drink. Not too sweet, but definitely not very sour. More like a soft drink than a beer.

One of my first sours, very good beer really got me into this style. Had this guy on tap served in a stem glass.
