750ml bottle, thanks to Andrew for sharing. Hazy brown red color. Thin khaki head. Good bits of lace. Awesome cherry fruit, rich aroma, light spicy wood. Bigger body. Lightly sticky. Very nice sweet taste, good light tart. Great woody fruit beer, very tasty.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle from Mane Liquor. Pours dark, murky brown with a few bubbles for a head which quickly disappear. Nose is very juicy. Sweet and oaky vanilla with not so tarty cherries and raspberries. Toffee comes through in balanced fashion with some ripe, fresh fruits - apple, pear. Taste is much sweeter than anticipated. Not overly tarty or anything but the tartness which comes through is pleasing. Very oak driven with sweet toffee and vanilla. Slighty woody with heavy berry influence. Appealing stuff. Drinks super easily. Maybe could do with a touch more sourness. Very good still

Where: Le Trappiste, Brugge.
Appearance: Dark red colour with a dark pink head.
Aroma: Sour cherry, dried fruit.
Body: Medium body with a good carbonation.
Flavour: Cherry, fruits. Rather sour, but the sweetness lessens it some.
Comment: Well balanced and refreshing.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
The aroma is tart cherry. The appearance is hazy red/brown, smal off-white head. The flavor is tart cherry, vinegar. The finish is tart cherry. Medium in body. Obviously, tart cherries are dominant here. Good overall.

375ml bottle at home. Pours a stunning dark ruby with good long-lasting pink-tinged white head. Aromas, though, are of supermarket own-brand dark cherry yoghurts. Taste and finish is too sweet for me.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Nice sweet/sour complement going on with a dry tart finish. Slight flavor of cherry and a distinct aged flavor. A nice aged kriek.
