Pours a deep ruby cranberry color with a strange purplish foam that settles and rings out... Aromas are mostly sweet and sour cherry juice with a bit of oaky earthiness to balance it out a bit. On the palate its predominately cherry but with a nicely lively carbonation and refreshing mouthfeel to keep the sweet cherry juice flavors from being to cloyingly sweet and more tart. Im not getting a whole lot of other flavors other than cherry, maybe a touch of wood and bread but its overpowered with fruit.

Wonderful appearance with a full bone-colored head over a clear amber-brown liquid. Both plum and cherry in the aroma, with a bit of oud bruin. The flavor is dominated by cherry and is quite fruity yet overall slightly sour with an excellent level of sweetness.

Davros (1477) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - OCT 11, 2012
Pours red-tinged brown with no head. Nose shows sweet cherries, a soft funky notes, light sweet malt and faint confectionery. Very enticing. Quite sweet flavours but with a soft tartness and a prominent funky note. Over-ripe cherries are the main show. No carbonation, with is a big disappointed as the beer seems cloying and feels watery. Very drinkable, would have been great if it was carbonation.

Bottle at Fighting Cocks, Moseley. Clientelle at Fighting Cocks is apparently professionals who don’t want to grow up, I figure that’s why my companion was to be found there.

375ml bottle (shared by FatPhil, thanks). Deep dark ruby red color. Tiny head. Cherry ovewhelms aroma in a pleasant way. Cherrystones, sour, sweet flavor. Well balanced and nice beer.

0.375 corked bottle. This is a clear beautiful deep blood color-red one with a small and slowly sidesticking - fading brown-pink head. It smells really good this one. Sour lemons, tons of sweet cherries, green grass, wood, sweet strong strawberries with a little hint of dishwasher dispensers - that actually feels really integrated and belonging. Impressive. It has a nice little almost fizzing carbonation level at first and a good almost sticky-oily mouthfeel. Tons of cherries here alright! It’s woody and a bit sweet also. More wet green grass, soft gentle lemon hints and a light dry finish. Really cherry-infused all the way. Enjoyable. 01.09.2012

Pours deep dark brown with no head. Aroma of sweet fruit. Flavour is sweet fruit (berry) with a sweet, dry aftertaste. Not particularly cherry.

Hazy red brown, kriek like, pinkish head. Rather sweet, with cherries and only moderately dusty. Fine body and carbonation.
