Je ruikt en proeft duidelijk de kersen. Een lekker zuurtje maar niet te overheersend.

Bottle from Tesco. Part of a tasting with Pix. Slightly cloudy red with no head. Mild cherry aroma. Nice fresh fruity taste. Quite a clean finish, but a touch of saccharine. Have had this before and thought more of it. It may have been one fruit beer too many on the day so will have to try again some time.

Botella. Deliciosa a la vista y al gusto. Frutos rojos por doquier bien integrados con el alcohol. Cereza, almendra amarga, madera, muy poco amarga y dulzona

Pours a reddish brown out of the bottle with a creamy head that fades quickly. Aroma is overwhelmingly cherries. Taste is sweet cherries at first then a bit of sour cherry comes trough. Full body with medium carbonation. Very nice and i really enjoyed this but was expecting a little more sour taste.

Pours a deep red colour with a nice head, taste is heavily of cherries with a sour and fruity finish. One of the best fruit beers I’ve had

Flaske, 375 ml. Marcipan-noter. Sur-sød øl, men frugten tipper den lige en tand for meget i sødlig retning.

750ml bottle served in a Ename Chalice that Beastiefan gave me. Some wood & tart cherries in the nose, a hint of acetic and funk. The taste is cherries, milk chocolate, wood and a bit of lactic tartness at the finish that keeps it from being cloying. There is a pleasant maltiness to the beer. This is a very nice Flanders brown with some complimentary cherry flavors.

The flavour of this gorgeous beer can be described as sweet and fruity, with a certain sour touch. The aftertaste is rather complex and rich. First this Cuvee Brut beer matures for about 1 year. Then Old Brown beer and Goudenband beer is added to create this lovely brew. This Liefmans Cuvee Brut is brewed once a year. In July Liefmans ads fresh cherries to this wonderful brew. Then the beer starts maturing again. This time for about 18 months up to 3 years.

0.375l bottle. Deep orange/ruby body, almost no head. Aroma of sour cherry, oak and some vinegar. Taste is pretty similar to the aroma. Intense sour taste, it consist mostly sour cherry, vinegar, oak and some vanilla maybe. Really nice.
