Bottle @ association Just Beer. I was not expecting a cherry taste that strong. Not being a fan of kriek beers, I was a bit disapointed, but I have to admit that this beer has something to show: the oak barrel aging give it a nice balance palate with some woody notes. Interesting.

Bottle, poured into a wine glass. Would be tricky to tell from a wine by appearance alone, if it weren’t for the very lightly purple head. Aroma is unsurprisingly cherries. Tastes... Well, sour cherries. I think I need more experience with sour beers to judge this properly. Nice introduction though, full body, great lacing. Very pretty colour!
Sourness is more pronounced if served on ice.

Rouge foncé, pétillance fine, col entre rouge et beige (!). Cerises bien présentes, surette et astringente mais surtout trop sucrée. Malgré tout, elle est plus subtile qu’il n’y paraît!

Shared a 375ml bottle from Cora (Luxembourg). It pours a red-ish dark brown colour with a thin tan head that persist. Aroma is sweet, sour, wood and toffee. Medium carbonation with a light body. Flavour starts quite bitter and with a sour and sweet end. A dry and complex aftertaste. The cherry helps to make a more suave end.

Not a sour beer fan but this isn't bad. Definatly strong cherry taste and sour. Red pour from draft at the bulldog in New Orleans.

Tastes almost like a cheery soda. Brick brown and red in color. Aroma is sweet, slight malt. Highly carbonated like soda. Overall is a good beer.

Bottle at home. Possibly the best cherry beer I’ve had, I’ve had quite a few of these over the years. Colour - dark red, thick texture. Full on cherry flavour, other cherry beers watery in comparison. Goes well with chocolate. Verdict - the daddy of cherry beer.
