Bottle, bought @ Kolding Vinhandel.
[Vintage 2006]
Pours a deep red-brown with a small fizzy head that soon disappears. Aroma is quite subdued. Naturally slight tart cherries appear, some oak, some barnyard, some dirt and a dose of sweet caramel. Lightly oily mouthfeel despite a relatively high carbonation. Flavour is light tart cherries, some sweetness, light oak, light liqourice and a finish with heavy sweet caramel (which surprised me). It is tart, yes, and dries out my mouth to perfection, but it ain’t no geuze, so this might appeal to fruit beer lovers as well as lambic lovers. Wonderful.

Deep burgundy with a lasting little pink head. Aroma of cherry and other berries, with funky earth and cellar notes. Dry and slightly tart flavour of cherries and black currant with hints of earth and wood

Bottle, c&c, from Sun Devil in Mesa, AZ. Reddish/garnet color with a slight, lightly pinkish head. Aroma of tart cherry. Medium body with sharp carbonation. Flavor is very tart cherry. Not exactly sour, but certainly tending that way. Makes me wish I were in Belgium.

Dark red with tiny head. Aroma is mostly sweet dominated by cherries and light sour barnyard notes. Sweet flavor with cherries. A little on the sweet side...

Bottle. Red-brown colour with a short pinkish head. Sour aroma with lots of cherries. A sweet bitter flavour of cherries with a long sour-sweet aftertaste. Apretty good kriek indeed!

Bottle. Poured hazy reddish brown color with an Minimal frothy off-white head that diminished quickly with minimal lacing. Moderate cherry citrus aroma. Medium body. Medium tart cherry flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. Refreshing brew.

It’s very beautiful, deep red with a creamy, slightly reddish head. The aroma has notes of cherries and sourness. The flavour is moderately sweet and has a nice berry-acidity and notes of lots of cherries and a little wood. It’s harmonic and nice.
